Juwayriyya Wajdhee has been working in the cookery field since 1980. She has formulated several new recipes and dishes, giving them her own names.

She has 60 publications to her credit, all written by herself. Juwariyya has up to date, presented 5000 recipes in Dhivehi, through her books. Out of this, 3000 recipes are her own creations, while the rest have been translated.

Juwayriyya has also appeared in several Television and Radio programs, and writes recipes for magazines including in-flight magazines, several newspapers and magazines in the Maldives. Juwayriyya does most of her writing to magazines and television programs for Television Maldives.
